On arrival at the
port you will check-in and board the catamaran. The crossing is
estimated to take 90 minutes, however this can be slightly longer on
occasions, depending on weather conditions. The Catamaran is
equipped with restrooms, a very good cafeteria serving a variety of
hot or cold snacks/beverages and a small boutique/gift shop.
On arrival in Pozzallo you will be greeted by the local guide and
transport.
We head of Scicli which is the Quad Bike starting point. After a
short training session with our local instructors we will be ready
for our Quad Adventure.
We start with our Quad Bike Adventure manoeuvring through country
paths and through a muddy terrain (to get you in the mood)..the
first part of the tour sets the scene and gives you the opportunity
to enjoy the wonderful colours and distinctive scents of the
Sicilian countryside. We eventually arrive at Chiafura - an ancient
prehistoric site which was colonized by the Arabs during the middle
ages. It is situated on the side of the hill of San Matteo,
which is actually a Limestone Canyon and makes for very enjoyable
Quad Biking. Our experience will take us under, over and through
rivers..slowly making our way to the coastline. The Iblea coast is
distinguished by a dense vegetation of dwarf palms and rocky
beach..the sea is beautiful and crystal clear.
A local lunch is included and this will be in a typical agriturismo
farm. After lunch we then proceed to the Marina di Modica before
returning back to the Quad Bike centre. Transport will then return
you to the port town of Pozzallo where you will have free time to
relax, spend time on the sandy beach, grab an ice cream or chill out
at a local cafe.
The port town is only a short distance from the catamaran departure
point. However if you do not want to walk it a local transfer is
approx. €14 for an 8 seater van.
Board the Catamaran for our return to Malta which is scheduled at
2130hrs Transport will be waiting for on arrival in Malta to return
you back to your hotel/drop off point. |

This tour is available daily (except Tuesday and Saturday) for
groups of 6 and more.
Please note Driver must have a
valid license which is required at
the start of the tour. Insurance excess payable by driver/client in
case of accident is €500.00. Driver and passenger personal accident
is not covered.
