Tour Description

Pick-up form your hotel and transfer to Sliema Creek to board the cruise boat for a day cruising around the coast of Malta. See Malta from a different perspective, the cruise hugs the coastline and you will see many of the coastline attractions. You start by passing through the Marsamxett harbour, then heading south passing the fishing villages, by Blue Grotto caves (the boat does not visit the caves), cruise under the towering Dingli Cliffs, past Popeye Village and onto Comino before the cruise stops for a couple of hours at the Blue Lagoon. Here you will have a nice buffet lunch and you also have the opportunity to go onto the island for a short stroll around or if you fancy a quick dip in the crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon, this is the ideal opportunity. In the afternoon we continue with our cruise, around the other side of the island, passing Mellieha Bay, St. Paul's and the White Rocks coastline before returning to Sliema Creek. Transport will then return you back to your hotels.

Additional Information
During your visit to Comino Island and the Blue Lagoon, optional speedboat trips around the caves, coves and lagoons around the island of Comino are offered by local operators. These are available at a supplement and paid locally.

Nice light trip..but the Blue Lagoon is not so impressive, because, there is too much people, and the see is very dirty. The visit to see the caves round the Comino is very expensive for 15 €, because is very short and so quick drive, that you couldn't make a quality photo. At the Gozo this trip to see the caves is only 4 €.

Very pleased with this tour. The commentary was good as was the food, both better than expected. Maybe stayed at Comino too long but overall would definitely recommend. Thanks.

Another awful day. It was a lovely four hour cruise dragged into a full day. The beginning was lovely until we got to Comino and the Blue Lagoon. The island is tiny, something like a mile long and not as wide and there was absolutely nothing to do if you dont go swimming. There were several of us older folk sitting for two or three hours on the boat waiting to continue the cruise. It was extremely boring. The captain of the boat gave a running commentary but is was too quiet to hear over the hum of the boats engine. If I had known that I would have been twiddling my thumbs for hours, I definitely would not have gone on it. I would not recommend this cruise to anyone at all and I know that several others on the cruise felt the same way.

The actual boat trip was great & the crew were wonderful. Unfortunately when we arrived at the dock we were sent off of the coach but not given any direction as to where to go. We queued up for the boat for 10 minutes only to be told it was the wrong boat and sent further down the street. The blue lagoon was disappointing as it was so busy, 100's of people milling around, we did go on the "extreme speedboat" which was awesome, worth every euro. On return to dock there were a mass of people all trying to find out where their coach was, there was only one man who was trying to sort everyone out, total chaos! Very badly organised. We eventually got to our coach about 30 minutes later, really spoilt the day which was a shame.
